Brigitte von Weiss graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1983. At the University of Chicago Medical Center, she worked as an oncology nurse from 1983 to 1985 and as an intensive care unit nurse from 1985 to 1988.

Attorney von Weiss graduated cum laude from Loyola University of Chicago Law School in 1990. She was in the top five percent of her law school class and received the following law school awards: Leadership and Service Award and Loyola University Law Journal Editorial Board Award as well as American Jurisprudence Awards for receiving the highest grades in Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure, and Professional Responsibility.

From 1990 to 1995, Attorney von Weiss worked at a Chicago law firm with over 200 lawyers.

Attorney von Weiss established the VON WEISS LAW OFFICE in 1997. In 2001, she earned a Master of Science in Taxation with high distinction from Bentley College. Attorney von Weiss is an active member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
